Attempts to collect debt not owed: Debt collection

National Credit Systems is attempting to collect and report a rental debt of approximately $4700.00 that I dispute. Before I vacated the property in 2023, the apartment had ongoing water damage, leaking ceilings, plumbing problems, mold growth, and unsafe living conditions. These issues were repeatedly reported to property management through calls and emails. I have photographs and email documentation showing the conditions and repair requests. Despite submitting this evidence during my credit disputes, the debt was verified and continues to be reported. I requested validation and documentation supporting the charges, but I have not received sufficient documentation showing that the debt is valid despite the habitability issues.
