the add-on products like the $1900.00 Service Contract or the $790.00 GAP waiver were forced upon you as a condition of financing ( which the paperwork explicitly states is unlawfu )

I requested full validation of the alleged debt, including a complete and itemized accounting of the loan balance from inception to present. This includes all payments received, interest charges, late fees, repossession-related charges, insurance/GAP proceeds, and any ancillary or add-on products included in the contract. I also requested copies of the original signed contract, payment history ledger, and documentation showing how the current balance was calculated.

I previously filed a CFPB complaint regarding this account. Westlake Financial did not address the substance of my complaint and instead provided a generic response regarding disputes with credit reporting agencies. My complaint is not limited to credit reporting. I requested documentation directly from Westlake Financial, including the complete payment history, repossession records, vehicle sale information, and deficiency balance calculations. More than 30 days have passed since my request, and Westlake has not provided the requested records. Meanwhile, Westlake continues reporting a balance of approximately $16000.00 despite the account reflecting a highest balance of approximately $11000.00 and despite the vehicle having been repossessed and sold. I am requesting that Westlake provide : 1. Complete payment history. 2. Repossession and recovery records. 3. Auction or vehicle sale records. 4. Detailed deficiency balance calculations. 5. Documentation supporting the current balance being reported to consumer reporting agencies. If Westlake can not substantiate the balance and reporting with documentation, I request that the information be corrected or removed.

This debt collector has engaged in conduct that violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ). They are reporting an account that I did not authorize, and no signed agreement exists bearing my signature to validate any obligation. A legally binding contract requires clear consent from all parties, which is absent in this case. Additionally, the collector has failed to provide proper validation of the alleged debt as required under the FDCPA. Without sufficient documentation verifying the debts legitimacy, their continued reporting and collection efforts are unlawful. These actions constitute violations of my consumer rights. As a result, I demand the immediate deletion of this account from all reporting agencies. Failure to comply may result in further legal action, including claims for damages.
