They keeping reporting on my credit report account not mines I have no knowledge of this account I have no Contract with this company

I am filing this complaint because this company is attempting to collect a debt that is no longer legally owed. The original medical provider approved financial assistance that covered the account in full, resulting in a $0.00 balance. I have documentation from the original creditor showing the balance was satisfied. Despite this, the collection company continues to attempt to collect the alleged debt and has reported or attempted to report inaccurate information regarding this account. By continuing collection efforts after the original creditor extinguished the debt, the company is attempting to collect an amount that is not legally owed. I have disputed this account and provided evidence that the original provider considers the balance paid in full through its financial assistance program. The collector has continued collection activity instead of conducting a reasonable investigation and correcting its records. If this company furnished information to any consumer reporting agency after the debt was satisfied, that information is inaccurate and misleading. Continuing to collect a debt that has been resolved may violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( 15 U.S.C. 1692e and 1692f ) by using false or misleading representations and unfair collection practices. If inaccurate information has been furnished to consumer reporting agencies, it may also violate the Fair Credit Reporting Act by failing to report accurate information. I am requesting that the CFPB investigate this matter and require the company to cease all collection activity on this account.

I have called the company and attempted to obtain information pertaining to the original date of service, the location of the service, who the service was provided for, anything. They were unable to provide anything at that time. I disputed this on my credit report as well. The company has been unable or unwilling to provide anything verifying the original debt before it was purchased by their company. Additionally, at this point, I dont believe they should even be pursuing payment on this account due to the age of the original debt.

The amount on the statement is incorrect. This account has been sold to 2 different companies with the incorrect amount. It has been placed on my credit report with the wrong amount and I have been fixing dealing with this issue of the amount is incorrect. I have disputed the amount with credit bureaus and to no have not been successful. I have the statement that shows the correct amount but the collection agencies are being very unprofessional and not willing to correct the information.

Good day. I am submitting this complaint regarding a collection account that has appeared on my credit report and is causing me significant distress. It is incredibly frustrating and alarming to discover a debt that I do not recognize, can not verify, and do not believe belongs to me. Since this account appeared, I have been subjected to repeated collection attempts and communications through various channels, including what I perceive as threats of legal action regarding an obligation I know nothing about. As a law-abiding consumer, I find it unacceptable that an unverified and disputed collection account continues to be reported and used against me. This situation has taken a serious toll on my emotional well-being, caused considerable stress, and has even affected my ability to sleep. No consumer should be forced to endure the consequences of a debt that has not been properly verified and does not belong to them.

I am submitting this regarding Ability Recovery Services , LLC for the improper reporting of two collection accounts on my credit reports. I believe this reporting raises serious concerns regarding my privacy rights and compliance with federal law. These accounts appear to involve medical-related debt, and as such, I am concerned that the reporting and sharing of this information may violate my protections under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ( HIPAA ) , which limits the disclosure of protected health information without proper authorization. Furthermore, I have formally requested validation and verification of these alleged debts pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), yet I have not received sufficient documentation demonstrating that these accounts are accurate, valid, or that Ability Recovery Services has the legal authority to collect on them. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), all information reported to the credit bureaus must be complete, accurate, and verifiable, and consumers have the right to dispute information that can not be substantiated. To date, I have not been provided with adequate proof, including any agreement bearing my signature or detailed records confirming the legitimacy of these accounts.

This debt collector has done unjustifiable practices of the FDCPA which it prohibits. They furnished this account that we didn't agree upon and I didn't sign an agreement on. A legal contract is signed by two parties and I did not participate in any of it. they didn't follow the proper 5-step validation procedure. According to the FDCPA, Im entitled to compensation for these violations and clearly, they violated my rights and abused my privileges. I demand this account be taken off immediately. It is affecting me very much a solution need happen

Ability recovery services located has been calling me every day sometimes two or three times a day. They are reporting on my credit about a medical debt that occurred last year and I had insurance and they are claiming I didnt. I am not with the insurance anymore. I called and said I was calling to find out why they were calling me repeatedly and reporting on a debt that I shouldnt have. The woman got a harsh tone and told me that I didnt need to call with the attitude which aggravated me and I told her I didnt have one she said yes you do and I replied if she wanted an attitude I could show her one. I asked about the debt she told me who the original creditor was and asked if I wanted to take care of it I said no and they needed to stop calling me every day she said ok well when you are ready to pay the debt give us a call back and hung up abruptly.
